Experience:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering, Textile Engineering
• Bachelor/Honors

• 2 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

• Age 28 to 32 years

• Candidates who have a clear career objective in Sustainability / ESG / Environmental Compliance / Supply Chain Sustainability.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good conflict management and coordination capabilities.

• Candidates willing to stay near Norp Knit Industries Ltd. – Unit-2, Gazipur will be preferred.

• Candidates interested in developing a long-term career in the sustainability sector are encouraged to apply.

Less Preferred Candidates

• Candidates whose long-term career objectives are primarily focused on Planning, Industrial Engineering (IE), Garments Production, Garments QMS or other unrelated areas.

• Candidates whose salary expectations are significantly higher than the advertised salary range.

1. Material Sustainability

• Manage garments/fabric Transaction Certificate (TC) related activities and documentation.

• Work with sustainability standards and certifications including OCS, GOTS, RCS, GRS, European Flax, Regionary, etc.

• Prepare and maintain relevant audit documentation and records.

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for material sustainability compliance.

2. EMS, CMS & Environmental Sustainability

• Handle tasks related to EMS (Environmental Management System) and CMS (Chemical Management System).

• Support compliance with BLR, BLA, ECR, Buyer COC and applicable international sustainability guidelines.

• Work with ZDHC guidelines, Brand RSL, ZDHC RSL/MRSL and other applicable chemical management requirements.

• Support documentation and implementation related to Higg Index, Carbon Footprint, Water Footprint, ISO 14001, etc.

• Support initiatives related to EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility).

3. Supplier & Subcontractor Monitoring

• Monitor suppliers and subcontractors from a sustainability and compliance perspective.

• Monitor supply chain performance related to Buyer Ratings, TG, TC, BCI, etc.

• Follow up with supply chain partners regarding GHG Scope-3 emissions accounting.

• Monitor and follow up on Higg FEM, FDM, ZDHC Sustainable Packaging and other relevant sustainability requirements.

• Conduct frequent visits to own production facilities and supply chain facilities as required.

4. Other Responsibilities

• Prepare reports, records and documentation related to sustainability activities.

• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors as required.

• Perform any other relevant responsibilities assigned by management.
