Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Purchase and Vendor Management: Manage the day-to-day requisition of purchases and receiving with delivery ledgers and schedule payment requirements for vendors, dealers, and wholesalers using the company's POS software. Maintain a healthy relationship with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and favorable terms.
∎ Sales Performance Reporting: Regularly report on sales performance, progress towards targets, and store-based sales-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the concern.
∎ Store Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day store operations, including Point of Sale (POS) sales, sales expenses, and store staff.
∎ Inventory Management: Monitor and ensure proper management of product Purchase Orders (POs) submission and receiving to maintain adequate stock levels.
∎ Marketing and Visual Merchandising: Organize shelf displays and marketing Point of Sales Materials (POSM) for better product visibility and sales growth.
∎ Sales Plan Execution: Develop and execute sales plans at the store level to increase customer acquisition and boost sales. Implement strategies to drive footfall and customer engagement.
∎ Sales and Expense Monitoring: Monitor sales, revenue, and expenses at the store level for both Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and Business-to-Business (B2B) segments. Identify areas of cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
∎ Inventory Control: Ensure proper cycle counting at the beginning of each month to minimize discrepancies between system records and physical stocks. Take necessary actions to address any inventory-related issues.
∎ Problem Solving and Reporting: Address challenges or obstacles that may affect sales performance swiftly and implement corrective measures.
∎ Loss Prevention and Security: Be accountable for theft, damages, losses, and inventory mismatches at the store level. Strictly monitor store operations to ensure compliance with security protocols and minimize potential losses.
