Responsibilities & Context:
- Production & Planning
- Manage daily operations of Offset, Printed Fabric Label (PFL), and Thermal/RFID sections.
- Ensure smooth workflow and timely execution of work orders according to production plan.
- Coordinate with planning, supply chain, and QA teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Quality Assurance
- Monitor print accuracy, color consistency, and finishing quality across all sections.
- Ensure barcode readability, RFID encoding accuracy, and durability of labels.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective & preventive actions.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to reduce wastage of paper, ink, ribbon, and chemicals.
- Monitor machine efficiency (OEE) and initiate improvement projects (Lean, 5S, Kaizen).
- Standardize machine settings and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise operators, helpers, and shift-in-charge staff in all three sections.
- Provide training on SOPs, safety practices, and quality requirements.
- Build motivation and discipline to achieve production targets effectively.
- Reporting, Communication & Compliance
- Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly production, wastage, and downtime reports with management.
- Communicate with management and related departments through professional email and written reports.
- Support buyer audits and prepare required documentation for sustainability and compliance.
- Ensure occupational health and safety measures (chemical handling, machine safety, ergonomics).
