Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of garment accessories machinery (Offset printing, Woven loom/cutting, PFL, Thermal/RFID, Screen printing, etc.).

• Advanced expertise in preventive & corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

• Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, automation systems, sensors, motors, drives, and control panels.

• Proficiency in mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, gears, bearings, and fabrication.

• Skilled in machine calibration, alignment, and performance optimization for high productivity and quality output.

• Experience in machine installation, commissioning, and modification projects.

• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices in machinery operations.

• Ability to work with technical drawings, CAD designs, and circuit diagrams.

Managerial & Leadership Skills

• Proven ability to lead a maintenance team and manage technicians/operators.

• Strong planning and scheduling skills for preventive maintenance and downtime reduction.

• Experience in implementing OEE improvement, Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing principles.

• Ability to coordinate with production, quality, compliance, and safety departments.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.

• Strong communication and reporting skills (maintenance logs, technical reports).

• Ability to train and mentor junior engineers/technicians.

• High sense of safety, responsibility, and compliance orientation.

• Adaptability to new technologies and continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of garment accessories machinery (offset printing, woven loom, thermal/RFID, screen printing, cutting, etc.).

• Diagnose and repair faults in electronic, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

• Calibrate and fine-tune machines for quality and productivity.

Machine Installation & Modification

• Support installation and commissioning of new garment accessories machines.

• Modify or upgrade existing machines for improved efficiency, safety, and energy savings.

• Work closely with production team to optimize machine performance.

Process Improvement & Support

• Implement engineering solutions to reduce machine downtime and increase OEE.

• Collaborate with production, quality, and compliance teams to resolve technical issues.

• Support lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives in machine operation.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all machines comply with safety and environmental standards.

• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance, calibration, and machine history.

• Train operators and junior technicians on safe machine handling.
