Proven experience in handling international buyer audits and factory compliance follow-ups.

Clear understanding of international buyer compliance standards and certifications.
Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Job Context
A reputed International Buying Office in Dhaka is looking for a competent and experienced Senior Executive – HR & Compliance to ensure effective human resource management and strict compliance implementation across office operations and associated factories in line with international buyer requirements, codes of conduct, and certification standards.
Job Responsibility
Human Resource Management:
Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and orientation processes.
Maintain employee personnel files, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
Coordinate payroll inputs, employee benefits, and performance appraisal processes.
Implement and monitor HR policies, rules, and procedures in line with company standards.
Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and internal investigations.
Ensure proper implementation of Bangladesh Labor Law and office HR compliance.
Compliance & Social Responsibility:
Ensure compliance of the buying office and associated factories with international compliance standards such as:
o BSCI, SEDEX (SMETA), WRAP, ISO, Accord/Alliance, and Buyer Code of Conduct
Monitor factory conformity related to:
o Working hours, wages, overtime, leave, and welfare facilities
o Health & Safety (H&S), fire safety, electrical safety, and building safety
o Child labor, forced labor, harassment prevention, and ethical workplace practices
Conduct regular internal compliance assessments and factory follow-ups.
Coordinate and support external audits conducted by buyers, certification bodies, and third-party auditors.
Prepare and maintain compliance documents, reports, CAPs (Corrective Action Plans), and follow-up actions.
Train factory and office staff on compliance requirements, labor law, and buyer standards.
Liaise with factories, buyers, NGOs, and regulatory authorities as required.
Documentation & Certification Management:
Maintain updated compliance records, licenses, permits, and certifications.
Track validity and renewal of factory certifications and compliance approvals.
Support implementation and continuous improvement of ISO systems where applicable.
Ensure proper record-keeping and document control as per audit requirements.
