Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: - Manage the recruitment process when a need arises by following the recruitment process laid down, develop sourcing strategies, involve in the preparation of advertisements, short listing CVs and calling for interviews.
- Ensure pre and post recruitment formalities for assigned SBU such as preparation of recruitment related documents for management approval, sending out welcome notices, issuing of recruitment packs for new recruits, enrolling new recruits to insurance, etc. are carried out effectively whilst adding value to the process thereby ensuring a smooth recruitment and onboarding process.
- Ensure new recruits within the assigned SBU are oriented to the organization by exposing them to the Company and thereby enlighten employees about the Group and its activities.
- Overlook the smooth functioning of the staff database by carrying out weekly and monthly audits, conducting all updates (recruitments, resignations, transfers, promotions) timely in order to ensure employee information is accurate & current for management information reporting.
- Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the assigned business unit and builds a strong business relationship with the internal client by working closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention levels of the units.
- Ensure necessary training for staff are provided by identifying the required training need along with department heads, organizing relevant training programmed in coordination with Group HR in order to create highly skilled workforce.
- Ensure identified training needs of staff in the assigned SBU are addressed by working closely with group HR in identifying the best training interventions thereby ensuring all staff are developed to take on future roles.
- Maintain the organization structures of assigned unit in coordination with group HR by periodically updating job requirements in job descriptions for all current and new positions of the SBUs/SSUs, by coordinating, assisting and educating JD writers as and when required, so as to maintain consistency of JDs as per Group guidelines and to support the sustenance of the Job Evaluation process.
- Prepare reports and presentations on company HR climate by gathering and analyzing relevant data and thereby assisting management on decision making.
- Ensure all legal requirements are met with regards to subcontracted workers, by coordinating and maintaining proper records of such workers and building strong relationships with manpower suppliers thereby complying with local labor laws to create a positive image of the company.
- Manage the PMS of the company in coordination with group HR assigned by giving the relevant awareness and driving the system through effective follow up thereby ensuring the effective implementation and sustenance of performance management system in the company.
- Handle all other areas for the assigned unit such as grievances, disciplinary issues, engagement activities, opinion surveys, off boarding process, etc.
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.
