Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Social Science
∎ Graduation from any recognized university with excellent result in Public Administration, Social Science, English or Law. Post-Graduation in HRM, Management and MIS, or the degree of Legal Practice is an asset.
∎ Preference will be given to candidate with Diploma in OSH or ISO 45001:2018 or Compliance training of the tenure of not less than 7 days.
∎ Working experience at RMG sector handling prominent Brands.
∎ Efficiency in communication (oral & written) in English.
∎ Computer Literacy is a must with efficiency in Excel, PPT and browsing

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Report to Head of the dept. and ensure Social Sustainability & Legal Compliance activities of the factory.
∎ Work as the responsible person for Social & Labor Convergence, CSR and sustainability strategy of the factory.
∎ Form, improve and implement Social, Labor, CSR & sustainability Policies & goals and legal / Govt. office compliance issues of the factory.
∎ Check daily Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) issues, do root cause analysis and go for sustainable solutions.
∎ Conduct internal audit on regular basis, check for the efficient implementation of the existing policies and contribute in forming strategic plan for short & long term.
∎ Maintain liaise with the Brands, communication with them while assigned, complete Corrective Action Plan (CAP)s and complete the remediation works within the specific timeline.
∎ Track the validity of Brands’ engagement (social, technical, environmental), Management System Certificates & business documents and act pro-actively for their renewal.
∎ Ensure conducting Brands’ development / verification visit, 3rd party audit, Certification bodies verification, etc. and present sustainability matters in the right manner.
∎ Track & liaise with RSC issues and validate the remediation works in timely manner.
∎ Work on multi-dimensional CSR activities and ensure achievements beyond and above general legal compliance activities.
∎ Ensure doing risk assessment of machines, tools and ambience, recommend for necessary PPE and aware concerns regularly.
∎ Engage PC & Safety Committee in accomplishing their assigned responsibilities, arrange for training them and develop them in doing so.
∎ Keep liaise with DIFE and ensure that all necessary papers / notices / information are sent there properly and in time.
∎ Liaise with Fire responsible and ensure that making of evacuation plan, fire safety and training of fire team members are done properly.
∎ Ensure that workers and staff are well conversant on conditions of employment, work-place code of conduct, benefits, disciplinary matters, grievance procedures, discrimination, ethical business and job separation procedures.
∎ Maintain factory profile, update properly and present whenever necessity arises.
∎ Liaise with HRD, Admin & Production units in respect of hiring, firing, health-checking and final settlement, maintaining personal files, conducting exit interview, reduce absenteeism and career development.
