Skills Required: Additional Requirements: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in corporate / factory IT support, preferably in textile, garments, or manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting 100+ users and multi-location environments will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi).
Hands-on experience in PC/laptop assembly, troubleshooting, and printer maintenance.
Basic understanding of firewall, antivirus, endpoint protection (advantage).
Good communication skills in Bangla & English.
Positive attitude, service mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to travel to factory locations (Garments, Textile & Spinning) as per requirement
Responsibilities & Context: The IT Service Engineer will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support to users across corporate and factory locations, ensuring smooth operation of computers, printers, network devices, and business applications. The role includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, user support, and coordination with vendors to ensure high availability of IT services.
Key Responsibilities
User Support & Helpdesk
- Provide L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, CCTV clients, phones, and other IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, email (Microsoft 365 /Outlook), and common business applications.
- Respond to user complaints (onsite & remote) and close tickets within agreed timelines.
- Support ERP users by coordinating issues with the application/ERP team. Hardware & Peripheral Management
- Assemble, install, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, POS, barcode printers, and related devices.
- Perform regular health checks, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of IT equipment in corporate and factory floors.
- Maintain asset tagging and support IT asset inventory updates (used/unused/damaged).
Network & Connectivity Support
- Basic troubleshooting of LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, patch panels, and structured cabling issues and escalate to the Network/Infrastructure team when required.
- Support users in VPN, internet connectivity, and shared folder / network drive access.
- Support configuration of network printers and shared resources.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure antivirus, OS patching, and endpoint security tools are updated on all assigned devices.
- Follow IT policy, data backup guidelines, and user access control instructions.
- Report any security incidents, policy violations, or suspicious activities to the IT Management.
Documentation & Coordination
- Record all support activities in IT service logs / ticketing system (issue, root cause,solution).
- Maintain documentation of user devices, license usage, and support history.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty, spare parts, and service support.
- Support IT projects (roll-outs, migrations, upgrades) as assigned by the IT Manager.
