Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination:
∎ Coordinate with various departments to understand sourcing requirements and ensure timely procurement of cotton spare parts and general items.
∎ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and improve communication between departments.
∎ Negotiation:
∎ Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
∎ Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for cost savings through effective negotiation strategies.
∎ Reporting:
∎ Generate regular reports on sourcing activities, including supplier performance, cost analysis, and savings achieved.
∎ Present reports to management and provide recommendations for process improvements.
∎ Database & Analysis:
∎ Maintain a comprehensive supplier database, including information on product specifications, pricing, and performance.
∎ Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed sourcing decisions.
∎ Forecasting:
∎ Collaborate with relevant teams to forecast future demand for cotton spare parts and general items.
∎ Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained to meet production requirements while minimizing excess inventory.
∎ Development:
∎ Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in sourcing practices.
∎ Continuously improve sourcing strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
∎ Market Research:
∎ Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and evaluate market trends.
∎ Stay updated on market conditions, pricing, and availability of cotton spare parts and general items.
∎ Cost Control:
∎ Implement cost control measures to optimize sourcing expenditure and identify opportunities for cost savings.
∎ Collaborate with stakeholders to identify alternative sourcing options that offer cost advantages without compromising quality.
∎ Reduce, Reuse, Recycle:
∎ Promote sustainability and environmentally responsible practices in sourcing operations.
∎ Explore opportunities to reduce waste, promote reuse of materials, and participate in recycling initiatives.
∎ Execution with Legality:
∎ Ensure all sourcing activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
∎ Adhere to ethical sourcing practices and maintain high standards of integrity in supplier relationships.
∎ Evaluation:
∎ Evaluate supplier performance based on predefined metrics and criteria.
∎ Provide feedback to suppliers and work collaboratively to improve performance and resolve issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the cotton spare part and general items industry.
∎ Strong coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and ensure smooth sourcing operations.
∎ Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to obtain favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
∎ Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to derive insights and make data
∎ driven decisions.
∎ Knowledge of forecasting techniques and inventory management principles.
∎ Familiarity with market research methodologies and supplier evaluation processes.
∎ Experience in cost control and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
∎ Understanding of sustainability principles and commitment to environmentally responsible practices.
∎ Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address sourcing challenges.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
