We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager (SCM), Sector-C, Bashundhara Group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement processes for Sylhet Sand and Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Raw Materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulatory standards.
- Execute and oversee local procurement activities related to Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) direct and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) procurement.
- Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, logistics providers, and stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes.
- Prepare, evaluate, and manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, delivery schedules, invoices, and contract agreements.
- Monitor delivery timelines and inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted supply and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal departments (Production, Logistics, Accounts & Finance) and external vendors to streamline purchasing operations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and provide periodic reports on procurement performance, cost management, and supplier evaluations.
- Assist Senior Management with strategic procurement initiatives, supplier negotiations, and establishing long-term local vendor relationships.
- Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and compliance with local laws and regulations.
