Education:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering preferred

• Relevant practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, subject to management approval

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or vehicle-related procurement

• Exposure to vehicle purchase, chassis procurement, body fabrication, or fleet maintenance sourcing

• Experience in ISO-compliant or audit-driven organizations preferred

• Execute mechanical procurement in compliance with ISO standards, audit requirements, SOPs, and company policies

• Procure light vehicles, off-track chassis, body fabrication, and maintenance services from authorized and compliant suppliers

• Maintain complete procurement documentation ensuring full traceability and audit readiness

• Prepare and manage all BRTA-related purchase, registration, and statutory ownership documents

• Evaluate, approve, and monitor supplier performance in line with ethical procurement practices

• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and user departments on specifications and acceptance criteria

• Support internal and external audits through accurate, timely, and retrievable procurement records

• Identify procurement non-conformities and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Ensure segregation of duties, compliance with internal controls, and risk mitigation in procurement activities

• Contribute to cost optimization and continuous improvement of mechanical procurement processes
