Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (M.Sc) in Environmental Science/ Master in Chemistry.
∎ ISO 14001/ OSHS 45001, /SA 8000 (Basic/Advance)/ISO 9001/Nebosh/ Lead Auditor/ Auditor Certified will give preference.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure facility is in compliance with required environmental regulations & permits (e.g., air emissions, waste water, hazardous waste, Energy, Greenhouse effect and general facility-wide environmental permit, etc.
∎ To ensure facility's for environmental impact assessment is conducted and significant impacts are identified.
∎ To work through monthly Aspect-impact analysis as regular basis.
∎ To Work to reduce facility's level of environmental impact & risk, improving environmental performance such as EHS, EMS etc.
∎ Track, measure and keep inventory of energy usage, carbon & environment management, water consumption, air emission, waste generation & chemical use, entitled to approve these data.
∎ Should be capable to monitor waste management of the facilities (Woven & Washing).
∎ Set & review at least annually improvement targets for energy use, GHG emission, water use, and waste generation & air emissions.
∎ Conduct environmental internal audit and ensure necessary measures to mitigate non-conformity from woven sewing and washing plant. But timely it's may require to visit Steel and Engineering factory at Dhamrai to find out EHS and Health & Safety risk and take action to reduce and guide to factory concerned.
∎ To manage hazards chemical waste program including receipt, classification, storage & disposal in compliance with all applicable regulations.
∎ To conduct environmental impact assessment (EIA) and implement environmental management Plan (EMP).
∎ To maintain necessary communication with the DoE for DoE license & ETP samples.
∎ To maintain related documents and certifications.
∎ To create awareness on chemicals related issues amongst the personnel involved in chemical handling and purchasing respecting Chemical Resistance list of RTM, GOTS,OCS, OEKO TEX, HIGG, ISO 14001, ETI, BEPI, ZDHC etc.
∎ To impart training on chemical handling & environmental awareness amongst the workers, Staff and Managers.
∎ Identifying workplace hazards, minimizing their risks with appropriate control measures and thereby avoids the financial costs of accidents & occupational ill health.
∎ Determining root causes of workplace accidents through proper investigation and preventing recurrence of the accidents.
∎ Preventing personal injury/illness and property damage associated with high risk tasks in workplaces including hot work, electrical work, work at height, work with hazardous energy, operations with machine guards, work inside confined space etc.
∎ Applying proper procedures of safe handling, use, storage and disposal of hazardous chemicals and protecting employees from exposures of hazardous chemicals.
∎ Managing risks at chemical laboratories through best practices and procedures effectively.
∎ Appropriate measures to control the risks of forklift operation to ensure a safe warehouse.
∎ Best possible ways to safely manage and dispose wastes generated at workplace, thereby protect environment and comply with regulations.
∎ Organization's Leadership responsibilities to promote and develop a positive Health and Safety culture.
∎ Execute any other task as given by the superior.
∎ To maintain ETP and relevant documents.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5-8 year (s) practical experiences in RMG ( Specially Woven Manufacturing and denim-no-denim wash).
∎ Should have adequate knowledge on EHS standards with implementation procedure.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge on HIGG Index manual and its implementation.
∎ Sound knowledge ISO 14001, OSHS 45001, HIGG Index (Environment & Social) , RTM, BEPI, GOTS, OCS, OEKOTEX, EHS, ECR 1999,1997, BLL-2006 Amendment 2013 & 2018, BLR-2015 and other environmental laws and regulations.
∎ Sufficient typing spread in English and Bangla ( MS Word & Excel).
∎ Mailing communication skill.
∎ Written and verbal communication skill in English and Bangla.
