Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or related field.
∎ Proven experience (2+ years) in Tableau development, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
∎ Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and complex query writing.
∎ Experience connecting Tableau to multiple data sources and working with large datasets.
∎ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and BI reporting tools.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
∎ Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
∎ Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and source control systems is a plus.
∎ Knowledge of additional BI tools like Power BI or SSIS/SSRS is advantageous.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements and enhance data visualization across the organization.
∎ Connect and integrate diverse data sources such as Oracle, SQL Server, Salesforce, Excel, and other platforms to Tableau for live and extract-based reporting.
∎ Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective BI solutions.
∎ Develop complex calculations, metrics, filters, and hierarchies within Tableau to support detailed data analysis.
∎ Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation using SQL and ETL tools to ensure data quality and accuracy.
∎ Maintain and administer Tableau Server environments, including user management, content publishing, and performance tuning.
∎ Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements for continuous improvement.
∎ Create technical documentation and provide training and support to BI analysts and business users on Tableau best practices.
∎ Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and BI trends to propose innovative solutions for data storytelling and forecasting.
