Job Context:
∎ Job location: Corporate Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka
∎ Direct Reporting: Manager, Health & Safety
∎ Department: Health & Safety
∎ Division: Operations
Job Responsibilities:
∎ HSE Governance: Create and review e.co Bangladesh HSE governance in line with e.co group, local procurement, engineering and operations. Review the policy according and develop HSE process for every type of field activity
∎ Develop Strategies: Design strategies to reduce incidents, accidents and other issues that may affect Assets, Network and People
∎ Implement Strategy: Implement the strategies and monitor accordingly so that the target result gets achieved
∎ Monitor Health and Safety: Monitor incidents, accident and people safety within an assigned geographic area [CCD/NCCD]
∎ Safety Inspection: Monthly/Quarterly inspection /Internal safety audit at the respective areas including all type of sites
∎ Reporting: Monthly/Quarterly reporting based on safety inspection/audit. Action points follow-up and it's resolution accordingly
∎ Investigation: Active participation to find RC for any incident/accident. Travel to the respective area. Also, perform proactive investigation at the most affected areas
∎ Design & Implement HSE Training: Design training programs to provide safety awareness education to all vendors, field workers and regular staffs accordingly with collaboration from HR team. Run training and awareness on PPE [Personal Protective equipment] to the entire working group across the assigned area
∎ Collaboration with Stakeholders Internal & External: Work with Engineering Design Team during concept design/structural design to aware about e.co approved safety policy. Work with construction vendor periodically for building better safety awareness
∎ Perform Risk Assessment: Assess The risk associated with tools and equipment, jobsites, and work environments within assigned area. Describe the risk and its mitigation plan to the entire working group
∎ Monthly HSE Reporting: Prepare detailing HSE report within assigned area monthly basis and circulate the report to e.co Bangladesh management, including actions and improvement steps
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years' experience purely in HSE in various industries
∎ Able to conduct & lead Incident Investigation
∎ Trainer background (preferable)
∎ Strong influencing and communication skills
∎ Excellent incident investigation skills
∎ Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skill
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill
∎ Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
