∎ Teaching experience with differently-able students who have a wide range of learning, psychological, emotional, and physical complexities

Job Context:
∎ Foundation for Advancement of Innovations in Technology and Health, Bangladesh (faith Bangladesh) is a registered not-for profit organisation based in Bangladesh which envisions a world where people living in resource-limited settings will enjoy advancement of innovations relating to health and technology.
∎ Under the project Brighter Life School of Clinical Services and Research Division (CSRD), faith Bangladesh invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Special Education Teacher. This appointment will be made on Fixed Term basis for 2 years, which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Quality services
∎ Assess students' knowledge and skills to determine their needs
∎ Adapt general lessons to meet the needs of special children
∎ Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
∎ Analyse, arrange, and assign (3A) activities specific to each student's abilities
∎ Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one
∎ Implement IEPs, assess students' performance, and monitor their progress
∎ Update IEPs throughout the school year as necessary
∎ Discuss students' progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators
∎ Prepare and help students transition from grade to grade and for life after completion of schooling
∎ Professional Practice
∎ Understand the legal, ethical and safety responsibilities of professional practice
∎ Communicates with parents/ caregivers in a manner that is consistent with their level of understanding and cultural background
∎ Develop and maintain effective working relationships within and outside organization
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Must have basic knowledge on computer and internet usage
∎ Must have organizational and financial awareness
∎ Able to execute for results
∎ Must have innovative thinking skill
∎ Can communicate collaboratively
∎ Able to build effective teams
Salary: Tk. 8000 - 10000 (Monthly)
