We are looking for a creative, reliable Content Creator to shoot, edit and publish video and photo content that tells the story of our school — from everyday classroom moments and student activities to our Annual School Function and ongoing campus improvements. The selected candidate will work closely with the marketing and admissions team, reflecting our belief that every piece of content is part of how we represent the Academy to current and prospective families.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and edit short-form video content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar formats) covering classroom activities, student performances, events and daily campus life.

• Capture and edit highlight videos from major events such as the Annual School Function, including Quran recitation, Nasheed, Ghazal, drama and poetry segments.

• Produce regular content around student activities — Creative Arts, Sports, Academic Enrichment and Islamic Activities.

• Photograph and film campus improvements (playground, play area, cafeteria, staff facilities) and other developments to support the school's ongoing growth and marketing efforts.

• Manage day-to-day posting and community engagement across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other active social channels.

• Maintain a consistent visual identity across all content, in line with the Academy's brand colors, logo usage and overall tone.

• Contribute photo and video assets to the quarterly newsletter, The Al Ehsan Herald, for parents, students and the wider community.

• Plan and maintain a simple content calendar aligned with the school's academic terms and event schedule.

• Ensure all content is appropriate for an Islamic educational institution, respecting modesty and content guidelines at all times.

• Collaborate with teachers, admissions staff and school leadership to identify and capture story-worthy moments as they happen.

• Support enrollment and parent-referral campaigns with dedicated promotional content, in line with the Academy's "every staff member is an ambassador" approach to marketing.

Educational Requirements

HSC or Bachelor's degree preferred. A background in Media Studies, Film, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is a plus — but a strong portfolio or content reel matters more than formal education for this role.

Experience Requirements

1 to 3 years in video content creation, videography, or social media management. Freshers with a strong personal portfolio or content reel are encouraged to apply.

Additional Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience shooting and editing video, with a portfolio or reel available to share

• Proficiency with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software

• Comfortable filming with both a dedicated camera and smartphone videography

• Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe Photoshop for photo and graphic support

• Experience running Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube pages for a brand, business, or institution

• Strong storytelling instinct — able to spot and capture a moment worth sharing

• Comfortable and patient working around children and school events

• Own laptop/editing setup preferred; personal camera or gimbal is an advantage
