Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing tests, debugging, and ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites
Evaluate new features and recommend improvements
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing strategies
Automate testing processes using efficient and maintainable code
Develop and maintain end-to-end, integration, and unit tests
Implement performance testing and monitoring solutions
Create and maintain test documentation and QA standards
Monitor QA activities, test results, and perform root cause analysis
Lead test automation initiatives and advocate for quality improvements
Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and product managers
Conduct database testing and ensure data integrity
Maintain and upgrade existing testing systems
Participate in code reviews with a focus on testability
Handle rotational on-call and support responsibilities
Educational Requirements
B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from a reputed university
Experience & Skills
Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation, acceptance, and integration testing
Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
Expertise in Web & API automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Familiarity with Git, GitHub/Bitbucket, and Gitflow
Experience building custom automation frameworks
Proficient in test case management tools
Solid understanding of integration and database testing
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a huge plus
Hands-on experience in testing REST APIs
Experience with visual regression testing tools
Understanding of Service-oriented and Serverless architectures
Comfortable working across Windows, Linux, and Mac environments
Experience with Next.js is a big advantage
Proficiency in Linux command-line usage
