∎ This is a rare opportunity to lead a multi-disciplined development team that involves the design and development of high quality software and web-based solutions for the food distribution/aggregation industry.
∎ The role involves the maintenance of a new online food ordering platform utilising some of the latest web technology, disaster recovery and application updates and upgrades.
∎ We are looking for a technically excellent Software Development Manager.
∎ Who is capable of managing complex projects and can provide robust solutions, in addition to managing, developing and growing the Development team? The successful applicant should have minimum 10 years Development experience and 5 years in a similar role and a computer related degree. Relevant software and project management certifications would also be expected.

∎ PHP (Laravel)
∎ MySQL
∎ JavaScript (Node.js)
∎ React / React Native
∎ Experienced in Object Oriented Software design and development,
∎ Experience of working in a Scrum/Agile development environment
∎ Experience of source control (Git)
∎ Ability to implement test strategies (Unit, Integration, Behaviour)
∎ Familiarity with current trends in DevOps
∎ Disaster recovery, planning and testing
∎ Advantageous Skills:
∎ MacOS / OSX
∎ AWS
∎ React / React Native
∎ Linux/Bash/ Python Scripting
∎ Native Mobile Application Development ( iOS / Android )
∎ Build Services
∎ Leadership Skills:
∎ Strong project management capabilities, disciplined and a motivator
∎ Good communicator, ability to listen and lead the team
∎ Ability to work as part of the team as well as drive it positively forward
∎ Ability to elicit requirements and convert them into specifications
∎ Experienced in reviewing documentation of the solutions created
∎ Strong presentation skills
∎ Experience Requirements:
