∎ Job Summary :
∎ Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs (CCP) is hiring a Program Officer for a USAID-funded integrated health program focused on capacity strengthening and behavior change in four distinct health areas: Nutrition, Family Planning, Tuberculosis and Maternal and Child Health.
∎ The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing Ujjiban`s social media strategy in order to increase Ujjiban`s online presence and brand awareness, and to increase social media users` exposure to health information and content. The Social Media Coordinator will report to the Chief of Party(COP).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
∎ Develop and manage the social media strategy, content marketing guidelines and editorial calendar.
∎ Lead social media interventions, content creation and content marketing initiatives.
∎ Act as a watchdog in ensuring brand consistency across all content.
∎ Systematically develop Ujjiban's brand image, increase presence and continually explore new platforms.
∎ Collect consumer data, analyze interactions and use this information to create comprehensive reports and improve future content strategies and interventions.
∎ Report progress to senior management and get their buy-in to drive new ideas and approaches for Ujjiban social media.
∎ Update strategy and guidelines related to social media in relation to macro changes in platforms and practices.
∎ Develop relationship/association with influencers, journalists, development practitioners from INGOs, development economists and innovators.
∎ Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and relevant applications.
∎ Liaise with USAID social media team for content development, dissemination and synchronization.
∎ Liaise with the PR team of Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs head office.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years of experience in a graphic designing/marketing/advertising related role with at least three years of specific social media experience.
∎ Professional experience in using social media, video and photo editing software (Adobe Creative Suite preferred), SEO, Google Analytics
∎ Experience with content marketing strategies and online reputation management
∎ Possess basic photography and videography skills
∎ Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side
∎ Demonstrates winning social customer service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla
∎ Language Skills: Excellent written and oral skills in Bangla and English.
