Established in 1972 as the field programme of Lutheran World Federation, Geneva, RDRS became a national development organisation in 1997 under the Trust Act. RDRS provides development services to over 3 million households in 32 districts through its five major programme priorities - Skills, Employment & Entrepreneurship, Social Empowerment, Agriculture, Food Security & Climate Change, Microfinance and Emergency and Humanitarian Response.
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications for the position titled Social Development Officer for ENRICH Project funded by PKSF.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assisting in the development of projects/initiatives as per the needs of members of the enrichment programme;
∎ Assisting in implementation of various activities at the field level including education-assistance, community-based development, youth development, senior development, financial assistance conducted under Samriddhi programme;
∎ Coordinating work as needed with relevant government offices/departments working at the field level such as Union Parishad, Department of Social Services, Upazila Parishad;
∎ Facilitate provision of capacity and awareness building training and technical/vocational training where applicable to members of Samriddhi families;
∎ Analyzing the profit and loss of the activities of the active members of the program and providing advice accordingly;
∎ Assist in preparation of various program reports.
∎ Duly perform any duties assigned by the organization in program related matters.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Power Point)
∎ Good interpersonal communication skills .
∎ Excellent knowledge in spoken and written in both English and Bangla.
Salary: Tk. 16000 (Monthly)
