Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that all assigned duties are carried out and that resources are efficiently utilized at all levels.
∎ Organize and supervise the work of his/her department on a daily basis.
∎ Liaise with the Site Disinfection on a regular basis and submit reports when required.
∎ Manage the Storekeeper, the Guards, the Cleaner, the Drivers and supervise their regular tasks properly.
∎ Under the guidance of the Logistics Manager, follow the construction of the Disinfection Site and make sure that works are realized without any deadline and in compliance with the highest standards.
∎ Ensure the perfect maintenance of the site during the length of the project.
∎ Ensure that all material and equipment needed by the project team is properly maintained and functioning well.
∎ With the assistance of the Storekeeper, ensure proper management of the stock.
∎ Participate (with the Storekeeper) in monthly stored goods and equipment inventories and send inventory and equipment reports on a regular basis to the Logistics Manager.
∎ Manage the daily movements of the vehicles needed for the project and follow-up each rotation of the Tdh ambulances (daily contact with other health stakeholders).
∎ Make sure each vehicle is properly maintained, equipped and that each Driver follows strict standard security rules (immediately inform the security focal point in case of an incident).
∎ Act as a communication conduit between the line manager and staff.
∎ This list of activities is not exhaustive and additional activities may be requested by Tdh management according to the needs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience in Logistics with (I)NGO in relief context (minimum 2 years)
∎ Ability to accomplish assigned tasks accurately and by established deadlines
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
∎ Proficient in written and spoken English
∎ Fluency in the local language will be considered as a plus
∎ Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
∎ Excellent organization and communication skills
∎ Professionalism and thoroughness
∎ High flexibility and ability to work under pressure and in a volatile environment
Salary: Tk. 55400 (Monthly)
