Responsibilities & Context:

Alliance Global is seeking for a smart, enthusiastic professional with solid work experience Civil Engineer to make blocks used to prevent river erosion.

Context:

  • This position is focused on manufacturing and quality assurance of concrete blocks specifically used for river erosion control and riverbank protection projects.

  • The Engineer will work closely with river training, embankment and revetment construction teams.

  • The role requires strong field presence at block yards and project sites.

  • The Engineer will be responsible for ensuring blocks can withstand water flow, wave action and long-term erosion impact.

  • The position plays a critical role in supporting national infrastructure and river protection projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and supervise the production of concrete blocks used for river erosion prevention (revetment blocks, CC blocks, interlocking blocks, etc.).

  • LGED road work site-Engineer.

  • Ensure block strength, durability, shape accuracy, and curing quality suitable for river training and erosion control projects.

  • Select and control raw materials (cement, sand, aggregate, water ratio) to meet erosion-resistant standards.

  • Supervise block casting, molding, vibration, curing and storage processes at the production yard.

  • Conduct and monitor compressive strength tests and quality inspections of erosion protection blocks.

  • Coordinate with civil and hydraulic teams to ensure blocks meet riverbank protection design requirements.

  • Prepare production plans, material estimates, and cost calculations for erosion control block manufacturing.

  • Ensure compliance with government, BWDB and project-specific technical specifications.

  • Oversee loading, transportation, and placement readiness of blocks for river erosion works.

  • Maintain proper documentation, test reports and production records.

  • Ensure safety standards and environmental compliance at the production and storage sites.
