Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare the structure of standardized (model) documents (in English)
∎ Develop standardized (model) memorandum & articles of association for private company limited by shares (in English)
∎ Develop standardized (model) memorandum & articles of association for private company
∎ limited by guarantee (in English)
∎ Develop standardized (model) memorandum & articles of association of unlimited company (in English)
∎ Develop standardized (model) memorandum & articles of association of public company (in English)
∎ Conduct discussions with relevant staff from the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms
∎ Prepare and conduct a one-day workshop with the staff of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms
∎ Incorporate feedback and finalize the model documents based on the comments and outcomes from the workshop (in English)
∎ Prepare the Bengali versions of model memorandum & articles of association

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 10 years' experience in the practice of private law with a law firm; at least 5 years of work experience in the field of corporate law
∎ Previous work experience in drafting articles and memorandum of association for public and private companies
∎ Previous work experience in assisting companies during the registration process in Bangladesh
∎ Previous experience in legislative drafting is an asset
∎ Previous work experience with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and firms is an asset
∎ Previous work experience with a development organization is an asset
∎ Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English and Bengali
