• The Global Health Supply Chain Program – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project is the primary vehicle through which the U.S. Government procures and delivers life-saving health commodities and provides operational support to improve the management of the partner countries’ supply chain. In Bangladesh, the purpose of this Activity is to improve supply chain systems for commodity security, logistics, and regulation at all levels of the public health system—from national to subnational—to ensure that lifesaving health commodities are consistently available to healthcare providers and patients when and where they are needed and used appropriately to improve health outcomes.

Purpose

• The MIS Advisor is responsible for leading the project’s support to the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) in improving supply chain transparency and integration across health programs. The Advisor will provide technical support, along with facilitating coordination among the GoB, US Embassy in Bangladesh, and other foreign assistance programs operating in the sector.
