∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Job Context:
∎ To ensure (global) logistics team is running an efficient and cost effective shipping operation through careful management of all logistics under Digital document handling. To provide added value to the organisation and assist Manager for providing outstanding service to customer. To strive for Operational Excellence in performing role responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage the full set documents for customer clearance with high level of customer service
∎ Develop and implement shipping/logistics procedures worldwide for DAP business
∎ Manage and motivate Global Shipping team for efficient and effective service and provide them with necessary training and consulting
∎ Assign shipment volume to forwarders taking into consideration each forwarder capacity performance and group guidelines
∎ Continue roll out of E-document (digital document) handling and associated process improvements
∎ Utilize best practices in logistic management and liaise with logistic partners for cost saving and delivery efficiency
∎ Working with IT Department to develop appropriate tools and system to support in-house operation and fulfil customer needs
∎ Study and propose new value-added service for customers
∎ Ad hoc projects related to the shipping operation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 6 years' international shipping experience in trading firm of considerable staff size, including three years supervisory experience
∎ Post-secondary education on relevant studies with formal training in shipping
∎ Proficient in MS Exchange, MS Word & Excel, and Allegro
∎ Strong communication skill
∎ Can work under pressure
∎ Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
∎ Excellent command of spoken and written English
