Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage daily inspection work of QC team Advise merchandising and QA teams, as well as suppliers, on changes on customer quality standards Devise and maintain quality assurance standards and quality control system to minimise rejection and claim rates, as well as achieve a consistent quality standard, whilst adhering to delivery KPIs Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to product quality, whilst giving professional advice in all areas of quality control and claim related. Evaluate existing and new vendors on various performance tracking aspects and recommend corrective actions and/or training to ensure quality standards are met Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the quality management systems of vendors, recommend improvements when required, and advise on upgrading systems and machinery Supervise the teams’ engagement in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity Responsible for championing the OI anti-corruption guidelines across the business so that all potential risk areas are minimised Collaborate closely with merchandising and QA management to ensure operational excellence Plan team development and be responsible for career & succession planning Provide guidance and monitor the performance of QC team Perform other duties as assigned by managementFocus on data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action planPerformance guarding and presenting results to stake holders
