Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute all the functions related with machine maintenance of sewing sections.
∎ Performing routine maintenance on sewing machine and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
∎ Ensures operation of sewing machinery and equipment by troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical problems.
∎ Locates sources of sewing machine problems by personally observing using precision measuring and testing instruments.
∎ Schedule preventive maintenance for engines, motors, conveyor systems, following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions and specifications.
∎ Removes defective parts such that machine remains workable at all times also fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
∎ Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
∎ Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies, placing and expediting orders and verifying right material receipts.
∎ Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
∎ Responsible for keeping spare parts consumption record & monitoring in connection with engineering store.
∎ To organize & supervise sewing mechanic, line wise as per requirement at production floor.
∎ Takes proactive measures so that no machines remain out of order for a long time as delay will hamper target production.
∎ Capable to conduct Technical Compliance Audit also conducting periodic internal/ external audit on above mentioned functions.
∎ Ensure compliance standard, with Maintenance steps strategy and initiative in view of maintenance. & establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
∎ Train and guide the technicians in using proper troubles hooting methodology and develop effective Maintenance standard also execute the necessary training and developments to technicians.
∎ Work on various cost reduction and quality improvement project in view of maintenance, equipment upgrading and modification.
∎ Provide technical advice and support to ensure that buyers requirements are met.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ Need immense knowledge about all types of trouble shooting of sewing machinery.
∎ Must capable to handle a Big Cut to Finish Modern Denim project.
∎ Knowledge and experience to handle complete maintenance and repair work of all the machines of the factory
∎ Must have the knowledge and ability to incorporate techniques and development of attachments and folders to improve productivity and quality
∎ Ability to lead maintenance team and improve performance by providing training to the mechanical department
∎ Must have the leadership skills and must be able to work independently and coordinate efficiently with the relevant departments to get the job done.
∎ Hands on experience on specialized machines.
∎ Candidates must have experience on Modern Denim Factory.
∎ Requires team-building capacity.
