Job Context:
∎ The Senior WPE GBVIMS Officer will provide technical supervision and support to the case workers using GBVIMS+ to ensure non identifiable clients information is confidentially collected and stored. She will also be responsible for promoting the use of guiding principles and the survivor-centered approach in data management. The staff will directly support in rolling out of the GBVIMS+ in the field.

∎ Reporting to: Women`s Protection and Empowerment GBVIMS Manager
∎ Contract length: Up to January 31, 2020 (With possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Adhere to and dedicatedly promote the women, girl- and survivor-centered support approach, and the GBV guiding principles
∎ Ensure clients information is securely collected, stored and only shared on the need to know basis
∎ Consult and work with the case workers feeding into the GBVIMS+ platform to identify capacity building gaps in using GBVIMS+
∎ Support in direct implementation of the program while offering linkage between the field staff and the manager
∎ Hold weekly meetings with staff to monitor progress of activities and offer coaching sessions
∎ Work in close, daily collaboration with the case workers to ensure they are able to input data in the Centers to ensure women and girls have safe, discrete and confidential access to/from the GBV and health services via the internal referral procedures
∎ Contribute in development of the work plan, and reports to the GBVIMS+ managers
∎ REPORT WRITING & DOCUMENTATION:
∎ Assist in compiling and submitting monthly data to the line Manager
∎ Assist to maintaining a clear and transparent filing system
∎ Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
∎ OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure all staff have data collection gadgets

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 2 years of experience needed in the arena of Gender and/or GBV
∎ Degree in public health, social work, political science, human rights and international law or other related degree, or equivalent programming experience
∎ Deep understanding of the Gender Based Violence guiding principles and what it means to provide a survivor-centered response
∎ Understanding of the steps of case management and the intersections with information management.
∎ Experienced in supporting staff in GBV case management
∎ Experience in providing case management training will be a plus
∎ Demonstrated capacity to analyze data/statistics for humanitarian operations
∎ Excellent Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Access and database software, including in depth knowledge of pivot table/chart and data analysis
∎ Strong understanding of browser-based applications, interfaces, workflows, role-based access
∎ Demonstrated organizational skills: the ability to work independently and productively, with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
∎ Flexible work attitude: the ability to work productively in a team environment and independently, and to handle requests or issues as they arise
∎ Demonstrated understanding of issues related to confidentiality, data safety/security and other ethical concerns related to the sharing on sensitive data between humanitarian agencies
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: the ability to successfully and effectively liaise with people in a wide range of functions in a multi-cultural environment
∎ Required to able to demonstrate a clear and genuine willingness to work and learn quickly and be committed to developing professionally in the field of GBV, in particular, supporting adolescent girls' protection and empowerment is essential
∎ Understanding of the impact and dynamics of men's violence against women and girls, and a strong interest in working on adolescent girls' protection and empowerment
∎ Personal qualities: Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well
∎ Strong communication and facilitation skills
∎ Ability to keep records and write simple and basic reports of activities would be an added advantage
∎ Excellent listening and observation skills, including ability to build trust, support, respect and interact with survivors of all ages, background and diversity
∎ Demonstrated commitment to girl's empowerment and protection through current/ previous volunteer or paid work in girls' clubs or other relevant experience is preferable
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect in Centers at all times is essential
∎ Familiarity with language spoken by population in need is essential; Good working knowledge of English is desirable

Salary: Tk. 60000 - 62000 (Monthly)
