Job Context:
∎ Position Title: Senior Team Leader - COVID-19 Response under COVID - 19 Response Program
∎ Location: Based in CARE Bangladesh Dhaka Office.
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to November 30, 2020 with high possibility of extension
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility # 1: Program Development:
∎ Technical lead in the designing of impactful and practical responses to the COVID-19 outbreak, considering the specific risks facing the most vulnerable groups in Bangladesh.
∎ Provide high quality technical analysis and inputs in to developing cost-effective, innovative and sustainable proposals related to the pandemic.
∎ Ensure program quality in line with agreed quality benchmarking, agreed deliverables and donor requirements.
∎ Support proposal development teams to ensure adequate budgets are available in proposals for staff, partner and community capacity development in technical areas in line with project objectives.
∎ Work with others in PEARL team for cross-thematic integration of programs, identifying areas for complimentary integration, quality data monitoring and evidence generation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Substantial and proven experience in providing high level technical advisory role in emergency response.
∎ Proven capacity to supervise, train and coach national staff and partner staff.
∎ Proven experience in program development, project cycle management and monitoring and evaluation related to the sector including writing up high quality project / donor reports.
∎ Proven experience and skills in advocacy and building work relationship with local/national governments and influencing institutional, private and/or corporate donors.
∎ Ability to extensively travel for project monitoring and provide on-site technical support to field teams. Working experience in INGO and development partners will add value.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Should have good understanding of MS Office applications.
