  • Demonstrated success in NZ student visa approvals preferred.

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and documentation discipline

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose :

The Senior Student Counsellor & Documentation Expert New Zealand Visa Processing is responsible for providing professional guidance to students seeking higher education in New Zealand, managing complete admission and visa documentation, and ensuring full compliance with Immigration New Zealand (INZ) and partner institutions. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and strong counselling expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

Student Counselling & Admissions

  • Provide expert counselling to students regarding New Zealand education pathways (Universities, ITPs, Private Training Establishments).

  • Assess student academic background, financial capacity, and visa eligibility.

  • Guide students in course selection aligned with career goals and visa compliance.

  • Liaise with New Zealand institutions for offer letters, enrolments, and confirmations.

Documentation & Visa Processing

  • Prepare, review, and verify complete student visa documentation in line with Immigration New Zealand standards.

  • Assist students in drafting Genuine Student (GS) / SOP statements.

  • Handle financial documentation, medical, police clearance, and insurance requirements.

  • Ensure error-free visa applications and timely submission.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of INZ rules, policy changes, and compliance requirements.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure ethical counselling practices and transparency.

  • Minimize visa refusal risks through accurate profiling and documentation checks.

  • Maintain student records, application trackers, and confidential data securely.

  • Conduct final document audits before submission.

Client & Team Coordination

  • Maintain professional communication with students, parents, institutions, and visa authorities.

  • Train or mentor junior counsellors/documentation officers if required.

  • Support management with reporting, success rate analysis, and process improvement.
