∎ Master’s in science or social science discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Statistics, Disaster Management, Environment/ Climate Change, Development Studies.

∎ 5 to 6 years of experience in DRR, capacity building related to community-based disaster risk reduction, climate change, early warning etc.
∎ Knowledge in gender, youth and children focused approach to development in the context of DRR and resilience.
∎ Demonstrated capacity to work with teams
∎ Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
∎ Gender awareness and a commitment to gender equality.
∎ Experience in maintaining stakeholder relations with local government, administration and civil society actors.
∎ Strong communication, report writing and presentation skill in Bangla and English.
∎ Computer proficiency in MS words, MS-Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint and expertise in software e. g QGIS/ARC GIS, KOBO, and AutoCAD will be an asset.
