Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for leading the automated testing processes for all of our web applications. The Lead SDET drives our test-driven development (TDD) in the software development department, providing technical leadership for the design and implementation of the processes behind TDD. The Lead SDET will have experience in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery software development lifecycle and will architect testing services across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle from a high-level perspective of defining test strategy, best practice and test processes, to the implementation of testing practices and solutions including:
∎ Manual, Functional and Regression Testing
∎ Automated Functional Testing
∎ Configuration Testing
∎ Performance/Load Testing
∎ Application Security and Penetration Testing
∎ User Acceptance, Usability and Accessibility Testing
∎ Localization and Regionalization Testing
∎ Defining an overseeing the overall automated testing strategy is the key performance indicator where the strategy includes how testing should be conducted, ensuring enough test coverage from Development, Quality Assurance and Operations.
∎ The Lead SDET will be partnering with Product Management, Design, and Engineers to clarify requirements, define test plans, create automation and own the overall test execution process to ensure quality deliverables. The Lead SDET will also help push forward innovations in test methodologies and productivity that improve our standards.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with a focus on building automation for web-based applications. Must be comfortable with black box and white box testing, and passionate about driving standards that allow a team to iterate rapidly while maintaining quality. Must have an interest in partnering with product managers and developers in coming up with new ideas and analyzing outcomes. Must be organized, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of ownership for your team's deliverables.
∎ Skills and Requirements :
∎ 4+ years of testing consumer websites and building functional automation tests
∎ Experience with automated test tools and frameworks
∎ Experience building maintainable and efficient tests using Java-based tools such as Selenium, WebDriver IO, and JUnit
∎ Programming experience with Java is a plus
∎ Knowledge of QA best practices and how to create processes to drive quality in a product
∎ Comfortable working with a cross-functional team of developers and quality engineers to develop innovative automated testing solutions
∎ Solid understanding of the software development life-cycle and Agile methodologies
∎ Familiarity with Linux, SQL, performance tools, bash scripts and version control systems such as git are also a plus
