Responsibilities & Context:

This role requires deep experience in developing advanced features, writing scalable code, and working with Shopify’s APIs at a high level.We’re looking for a Senior Shopify Developer who can take full ownership of Shopify projects from concept and setup to launch and optimization.

You’ll collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and marketing teams to turn ideas into high-performing storefronts. If you love building elegant, functional eCommerce solutions and pushing the limits of Shopify’s ecosystem, we’d love to have you on our team.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and customize Shopify themes (Online Store 2.0) using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Create custom logic using Shopify APIs and GraphQL.

• Build reusable, scalable components and ensure pixel-perfect design execution from Figma/XD mockups.

• Collaborate with designers and marketers to deliver conversion-driven store experiences.

• Optimize for speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals across devices and browsers.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain Shopify themes, checkout flows, and app integrations.

• Stay up to date with Shopify releases, new APIs, and best practices for eCommerce development.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience building Shopify stores or apps.

• Deep knowledge of Liquid, Shopify APIs, and Storefront/GraphQL APIs.

• Strong front-end development skills in HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/Tailwind), JavaScript (ES6+).

• Experience with version control (Git) and modern build tools (Webpack/Vite).

• Excellent understanding of Shopify meta fields, dynamic sections, and schema.

• Solid grasp of UI/UX and cross-browser responsive development.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Shopify Plus or headless setups (Hydrogen).

• Experience integrating third-party APIs or custom checkout logic.

• Passion for performance optimization, SEO, and conversion rate improvement.
