Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters’ degree preferably in social sciences, development and humanitarian studies, social work, community development and other relevant subject area or a combination of significant management and provision of Gender, GBV and Protection in humanitarian and development contexts
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Location: Ukhiya Field Office.
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to January 31, 2023 with possibility of extension
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 4-5 years professional practical/experience in relevant field.
∎ Practical field experience in protection, GBV in emergencies, women and girls protection, psychosocial programming in emergency or development contexts.
∎ Strong knowledge of Gender, GBV and Protection issues and IASC Gender Handbook and GBV Guidelines, protection principles
∎ Technical experience in the Sector and delivery of Sector services in a camp setting, including proven completion of GBV Guiding Principles and GBV Case Management training.
∎ Intention and capacity to coordinate and advocate for rapid scale-up in case of emergency.
∎ Demonstrated field experience working in camps or spontaneous/informal/makeshift settlements
∎ Has experience coordination, advocacy and networking with tier of stakeholders. Strong participatory training and/or facilitation skills.
∎ Has experience in monitoring and evaluations systems and approaches.
∎ Fluency in Rohingya language and/or Chittagonian language is essential.
∎ Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English is required.
∎ Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office package.
