Job Context:
∎ Work Location: IRC-Bangladesh, Ukhia Office ( with frequent travel to Different field offices & Camps)
∎ Reporting To: Senior Program Coordinator; Technical Supervisor: Deputy Director of Operations
∎ Department: Operations
∎ Expected Start Date: At Earliest
∎ Contract length: Up to June 30, 2020 (with possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supply Chain:

∎ Liaison Supply Chain procurement team to ensure office supplies are smooth and on time.
∎ Collaboration with Cox's Bazar office operations, process payment for all rental facilities (office, guesthouse, warehouse etc.) including utility bills
∎ Manage office store, stationery and consumables with keep accurate record of supply incoming and dispatches for office
∎ Align with SC team, manage office maintenance work and act as housekeeping focal for Ukhia Office
∎ Manage all admin support staffs, outsource service provider staffs (cleaner, security guards and any casual volunteer/ labor)
∎ Manager any kind office administration tasks with proper coordination with relevant team and departments
∎ Ensure all IT services, hardware and software are regularly maintained and review all new/replacement hardware/software needs with IT Officer/Assistant
∎ Ensure Ukhia office IT infrastructure is suitable to support IRC Ukhia based staffs and operational needs
∎ Lead and ensure an efficient management of IRC's fleet together with fleet manager
∎ Arrange office internal meeting and workshop and also external ones as per instruction of line manager
∎ Responsible for furniture and equipment (non-IT) inventory list
∎ Staff Supervision and Development

∎ Provide encouraging mentorship and supervision to direct reports. Provide appropriate and timely feedback to staff regarding their performance, including timely implementation of the regular check in, annual staff performance management system in operations department.
∎ Promote an open, diverse and participatory work environment
∎ Lead with dedication, integrity, service and accountability to the "IRC Way" - Global Standards for Professional Conduct
∎ Field Management Support

∎ Assist Senior Program Coordinator (Head of Ukhia field office) to maintain Ukhia field office control and efficiency
∎ Provide updated information to the DDO on extraordinary requests for support from the field
∎ Consult with and make recommendations together with the Senior Field Coordinator to the DDO on field operations, security and administrative issues
∎ Government compliance and Liaison/Representation and Coordination

∎ Assist the DDO, Liaison Manager and SPC in establishing, developing and sustaining a positive relationship with Govt counterparts to ensure timely approvals for IRC's access to operate in both Rohingya camps and host community that enables smooth program delivery which is also aligned with GoB rules and regulations for INGOs in Bangladesh
∎ Staff Safety and Security

∎ Audit of all IRC facility on regular interval and take necessary action considering staff safety, security and wellbeing
∎ Maintain an oversight and provide support to senior officer (safety, security and access) to ensure up to date IRC's systems
∎ its strict implementation of security rules and safety regulations

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience of working with UN Agencies or Non-Governmental Organizations.
∎ Minimum 8 year of experience in Logistic/Operation
∎ People who have knowledge in Chittagogian language will get preference
∎ Excellent MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point skills;
∎ Excellent interpersonal and team skills;
∎ Dedications to humanitarian principles and values;
∎ Dedications to and understanding of IRC's aims, values and principles.
