• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce/Supply Chain (Master’s preferred).

• 4–7 years of experience in procurement (local scrap/materials) with proven vendor network.

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

• Sound knowledge of local scrap market dynamics.

• Proficiency in MS Excel/ERP/SAP for reporting.

• Excellent communication and leadership ability.

• Willingness to travel frequently within local markets.

• Purchase scrap/raw materials from local markets as per company requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local suppliers.

• Conduct market visits, collect quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure cost-effectiveness.

• Ensure proper quality, weight, and quantity verification at purchase points.

• Prepare and maintain PR, PO, GRN, and purchase documentation.

• Monitor local scrap market price trends and supplier performance.

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policy and ethical standards.

• Coordinate with Finance, SCM, and Inventory teams for smooth bill settlement and inventory management.

• Lead and guide junior team members in market procurement activities.
