Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of "Senior Officer - Strategy and Business Development" to join our experienced team of professionals.
∎ The prime objective of the position is to assess and secure the business opportunity in the field of research/consultancy/training by scanning market demand in the private, public, and development sectors of the national and international arenas by utilizing the firm`s internal and external resources. The person will be responsible for executing and co-ordaining of activities of the Communication and Business Development Team as well as collaboration with other team members.
∎ The person will work under the direct supervision of the Manager - Communication and Business Development.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Search and analyze potential calls (RFP/ EoI/ REoI/ RFQ) according to the SOP.
∎ Identify potential clients and collect the information of the key personnel within the client organizations.
∎ Attend pre-bid meetings, and other business-related discussions.
∎ Work with the team in developing proposals as per the needs, concerns, and objectives of a client.
∎ Maintain databases of all respective stakeholders relevant to the business communication.
∎ Close new business deals by conducting necessary tasks such as developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
∎ Maintain regular communication with the existing and previous clients to inform them about new services of the organization, and bring new business from them.
∎ Attend relevant development events, provide feedback about market demand and current trends.
∎ Identify the opportunities for collaboration with different sector leaders, development partners, donors, government agencies, universities, and institutions.
∎ Identify and develop the company's unique service propositions and differentiators through the usage of knowledge of the market and competitors
∎ Analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the organization.
∎ Support to develop the strategic plan for the development of the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have at least three years of hands-on experience in the field of business development and management, ideally in the research and development sector
∎ Should have good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
∎ Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Bangla and English
∎ Should have good organizational and administrative skills
∎ Should have a good understanding and hands-on experience of working in/with networks, databases, and other cloud-based applications.
∎ Should have sound knowledge in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PP)
∎ Should have problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
∎ Should have the ability to coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously
∎ Should have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
∎ Should be a self-starter and have the ability to lead a team

Salary: Tk. 35000 - 50000 (Monthly)
