Job Responsibilities:
∎ To contribute implementing UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.
∎ To implement CWRA intervention in General & Technical School, Regional level and Community/Industry level by following organizational policy guidelines and relevant national regulations.
∎ To contribute and conduct social mapping to find out appropriate and potential students/trainee for General & Technical School particularly for fee-based programme, ROLLs by following gender, PWD and marginalized group’s ratio with support from regional authority.
∎ To ensure targeted admission both for General & Technical school of appropriate students by following gender, PWD and marginalized group’s ratio with support from school and regional authority.
∎ To build rapport and regular communication with UCEP existing students/trainee, parents, community people, other stakeholders and strategic partners to ensure their involvement for student/trainee retention, new student/trainee enrollment and promote UCEP’s programme through awareness events, various meetings, day observations/celebrations, Individual or group discussions, distribution of BCC & IEC materials and others.
∎ To guide Community Mobilizer to arrange motivational session with influential persons from parents’ group and community/employer group for ensuring children and youth especially girls/PWD/marginalized groups’ participation in UCEP programmes and send them to decent job through skills training programme.
∎ To guide and conduct gender-friendly assessment by following UCEP’s Child Protection Policy, Gender Policy and Prevention of Sexual harassment policy and other relevant guidelines and disseminate the report to competent authority to address the issue.
∎ To guide Community Mobilizer to strengthen Child Council Committee’s (CCM) in General, Technical school and region for ensuring active participation in all aspects of school’s event to improve the programme quality.
∎ To maintain liaison with local Government and Administration GO/ NGOs/CSOs/CBOs /Club/Association/ Educational Institutions/Media to build strategic partnership with them for cost effective mobilization activity, cultural event/mass awareness event, health campaign, local level resource mobilization.
∎ To implement Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) of Child and Women Rights Advocacy (CWRA) programme based on social context, market analysis and future demand of education especially fee-based General Education for children/youth. To play active role as Gender and Child Protection Focal Person in General School to response in case of any gender-based violence. Continue need based meeting, address complain box issues regarding GBV, strengthen reporting mechanism to supervisor or competent authority.
∎ To contribute to improvement of Advocacy Strategies for promoting UCEP’s programme related to ROLLs program, inclusive education system, fee-based education program social enterprise and local resource mobilization for organizational sustainability.
∎ To activate systematic feedback mechanism from the direct and indirect beneficiaries of the programme and report to Regional Management, Senior Management and other competent authority to incorporate the issue if any.
∎ To guide to arrange orientation session on UCEP’s Child Protection Policy, Child Rights & Prevention on harassment based on approved session plan with relevant students in relation to ensure their protection issue.
∎ To monitor the day-to-day activity of CWRA in the region and supervise the activities of Community Mobilizers using the monitoring tools and to take initiative to develop the capacity of Community Mobilizers.
∎ To develop and maintain necessary capacity-based training/workshop/orientation on approved plan of relevant staff in relation to effective and efficient implement of CWRA interventions.
∎ To prepare monthly/quarterly work plan in align with Regional Action Plan in consultation with Head Office and Regional Management.
∎ To prepare monthly/quarterly/annual progress report (program) and monthly financial report and contribute to regional budget preparation.
∎ To ensure highest level security, integrity and confidentiality in all aspects of work including data management, storage, archiving and reporting.
∎ To keep coordination among General School, Technical School, Job Placement, Fee-based program and others relevant authority.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities/plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.
∎ To carry out other relevant tasks assigned by the Authority as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ 4 years of relevant professional experience including at least 2 years in mid-level role of managing social development work in an education program of a large organization.
∎ Preference will be given to candidates having experience working on child and woman rights issues.
∎ Proficient in MS Office package.
∎ Excellent Communication skills both in English and Bangla.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development works.
∎ Willingness to transfer at any place where UCEP Bangladesh has its activities.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
∎ Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
