Master degree in any discipline, preferably Social science, Development Studies, Public Administration, Business Studies, Economics or any other relevant fields.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with urban sector development.
Sound knowledge on municipal working mechanism and dealing LGI and govt, representatives.
Past records to work with informal waste and sanitation workers towards dignifying their lives.
Familiar with social business around the waste management and coaching/mentoring sanitation workers towards engaging in the business.
Skills to demonstrate capacity building material preparation, event delivery, monitoring and recording, knowledge management and dissemination works.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to set priorities.
Good English writing, analytical, communication, and report writing skills.
Excellent knowledge on computer usage specially in MS office, Outlook and other software.
Good ability to work with multicultural team.
Willing and able to travel independently outside station.

Based in Faridpur, the Project Officer will be responsible for organizing and facilitating key activities at both national & field level under the assigned DMDP funded Project. Mainly assist to partner for implementation. Support different units for documentation, best practices, story collection & assist to prepare knowledge product and communication at national level to advocacy the philosophy and policies of the organization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Programmatic Responsibilities:
S/he will assist in planning meetings, workshops, and events under the project, and compile meeting reports.
S/he will extend the support and closely coordinate with the partners to ensure for achieving the target as a result of the projects.
S/he will have the proven ability to work with target communities and partners to gather case studies, best practices/success stories, and information on project activities.
S/he will assist to organize and facilitate different trainings, behavior change campaigns, demonstration of solid waste, faecal sludge and plastic waste collection and transfer equipment/infrastructures and services.
Experience delivering training, presentations, and other capacity building activities to different audiences.
Work with other colleagues for project progress tracking and update with senior management.
Have to travel frequently for project implementation at both working areas.
Administrative Responsibilities:
S/he will support in organisational administrative works at national level in coordination with country office people and culture department, finance department and general support service department.
S/he will be responsible for effective financial management in accordance with organisational policies at the local level.
