Experience:
Degree in development studies, English, Public Health, International Development, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
Training in Proposal Development, Grant Management, Social Enterprise, etc.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fundraising, grant acquisition, or project development.
Demonstrated experience in proposal writing and donor engagement.
Experience working with international donors and development partners.
Experience leading or coordinating proposal development teams is highly desirable.
Experience in public health, research, or NGO sectors will be an advantage.
Demonstrated track record in securing funding.

The Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) is a leading public health research organization dedicated to preventing injuries and improving health outcomes through research, innovation, and community-based interventions. CIPRB implements large-scale programs in drowning prevention, child safety, health systems research, and injury prevention across Bangladesh in collaboration with national and international partners.
To strengthen its resource mobilization capacity and ensure sustainability of programmes, CIPRB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager-Resource Mobilization & Strategic Partnerships to lead fundraising initiatives, primarily supporting the Drowning Prevention Division, while contributing to other organizational divisions as required.

Reporting and Supervision Structure:
• Technical Supervision: International Programme Fundraising Manager, Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)
• Administrative Reporting (Bangladesh): Executive Director, Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB).
Job Purpose: The Manager-Resource Mobilization & Strategic Partnerships will lead and strengthen CIPRB’s fundraising and resource mobilization efforts, with a primary focus on drowning prevention programmes while supporting other divisions when required. The incumbent will support the development of fundraising strategies, identify funding opportunities and coordinate proposal development processes with the wider team, including proposal writing, to secure sustainable funding from institutional donors, foundations, and corporate partners. The Manager will be responsible for compliance with donor requirements for successfully funded projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising Strategy
Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of CIPRB’s fundraising strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
Strengthen diversified funding streams, including institutional grants, foundations, corporate partnerships, and innovative financing opportunities.
Identify new and emerging funding opportunities nationally and internationally.
2. Resource Mobilization
Proactively explore funding opportunities related to drowning prevention, injury prevention, and public health research.
Maintain donor intelligence systems and funding pipelines.
Build and maintain relationships with donors, development partners, and funding agencies.
Support strategic positioning of CIPRB as a global leader in drowning prevention research and implementation.
3. Proposal Development and Coordination
Coordinate proposal development processes from concept to submission.
Lead preparation of concept notes, grant proposals, and partnership proposals.
Deliver high-quality proposal writing aligned with donor requirements.
Develop, with relevant teams, budgets, logical frameworks, implementation plans, and monitoring frameworks.
Coordinate with programme, finance, and research teams to ensure proposal quality and compliance.
4. Partnership and Collaboration
Work closely with RNLI and international partners to identify joint funding opportunities.
Coordinate and contribute to collaborative proposal development with national and international organizations.
Strengthen partnerships contributing to global drowning prevention initiatives.
5. Organizational Support
Provide fundraising support to other CIPRB divisions as required.
Contribute to organizational visibility and donor communication materials.
Support development of fundraising tools, donor briefs, and impact communication materials.
6. Compliance and Quality Assurance
Ensure proposals align with donor guidelines and organizational standards.
Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements.
Maintain documentation and tracking systems for funding submissions.
Ensure adherence to CIPRB policies, safeguarding standards, and ethical practices.
Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities assigned by supervisors consistent with the role.
Consolidated monthly salary: Tk. 88,432/- (Eighty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred and Thirty-Two Taka Only)
