Experience:
Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, Education
Management, or a related field with a quantitative focus.
An MBA with a quantitative focus from a reputed overseas/international
university
High level of English language proficiency, preferably demonstrated by an
IELTS score of 7 or above (with no band below 6.5), or a TOEFL iBT score of
94 or above (with no section below 23)
Prior experience working with university rankings or institutional
accreditation bodies.
Understanding of international higher education metrics, rankings
methodologies, and benchmarking frameworks.
Proactive and self-motivated with strong analytical thinking and problem-
solving capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage institutional data systems and contribute
to strategic data-driven decisions.
Experience coordinating with academic and administrative departments
to collect and verify data.
Knowledge of academic quality assurance standards, educational
statistics, or higher education policy is a plus.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, institutional research, or quality assurance (experience in a university setting preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; working knowledge of SPSS,
Power BI, or other data tools is highly desirable.
High level of proficiency in formal written and spoken English.
Demonstrated ability to collect, synthesize, and report complex data sets.
Excellent coordination and communication skills, including drafting
reports, letters, and documentation.
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
under tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
High degree of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to data
confidentiality.
Experience with global university rankings (QS, THE, etc.) or institutional
assessment will be considered a strong asset.

a) Assist the Pro-Vice Chancellor in the development, implementation, and refinement of
institutional strategies and action plans related to university rankings.
b) Collect, analyze, and validate institutional data from academic and administrative units following
the data definitions and indicators of various ranking frameworks (QS, THE, etc.).
c) Analyze, synthesize, and merge data using appropriate analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Power BI),
ensuring completeness, accuracy, and readiness for submission to ranking bodies.
d) Maintain a comprehensive calendar of submission deadlines, feedback windows, ranking cycles,
and related reporting requirements.
e) Coordinate and communicate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including
ranking agencies, regarding ranking submissions and institutional performance.
f) Represent the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor in meetings and workshops related to rankings,
and prepare summaries or presentations as needed.
g) Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all data handled; perform regular backups and maintain
secure storage of data and related documents.
h) Develop and maintain a centralized archive of historical submissions, scorecards, feedback
reports, and evidence used in ranking exercises.
i) Prepare institutional reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing ranking results,
performance metrics, and benchmarking analysis with peer institutions.
j) Monitor updates in ranking methodologies and best practices by reviewing official documentation
and attending relevant training or information sessions (e.g., QS Rankings Methodology Guide, THE
Data Points Definitions).
k) Draft letters, official correspondence, meeting notes, and documentation related to rankings, for
internal or external use as directed by the Pro-Vice Chancellor.
l) Assist in procuring and maintaining tools, software, or systems needed for data analytics and
ranking submissions.
m) Troubleshoot data discrepancies, formatting issues, and submission errors to ensure compliance
with ranking portal requirements.
n) Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance knowledge of higher
education metrics, analytics, and global ranking trends.
o) Foster a collaborative and cooperative work culture across departments to facilitate timely and
accurate data submission and reporting.
