Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Master of Law (LLM).

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in development and promotion of organizational values, clear strategies, policies, plans, effective risk management processes and contribute to set the organization’s overall direction.
∎ Render necessary support for the effective and efficient implementation of the ED’s goals, key activities, short-medium and long-range plans in line with UCEP Bangladesh’s Values, Vision, Mission and Goals.
∎ Actively contribute to the establishment, maintenance and strengthening of networks of ED’s office and SMT with UCEP BoG, Association, Welfare Trust, UCEP Ex-Student’s Alumni Association, RMT and other key internal and external stakeholders.
∎ strengthening and enforcement of legal compliances e.g. Laws and Regulations, Code of Ethics, Conflicts of Interest Policy, “Whistleblower” Policy etc.
∎ document, recordkeeping, data retention and necessary information destruction;
∎ preserve copies of legal and statutory documents of BoG, NGOAB approval and NBR, DC office coordination and deliver as and when needed.
∎ Assist for ensuring timely follow up of implementation of the decisions of Management Meetings (SMT and SMT-RMT).
∎ Assist in ensuring meetings with donor partners as needed and ensure the availability of necessary papers to assist in making informed decisions/discussions etc.
∎ Assist in ensuring compliance requirements of UCEP Bangladesh’s membership with different bodies / agencies.
∎ To promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities/plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ Supervise support staff.
∎ Assist in preparing briefs, complaints and other court documents.
∎ Assist with necessary support for consulting with lawyers/legal firms and attend the court of law whenever required.
∎ Assist in preparing legal documents, provide litigation support in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
∎ Assist in ensuring legal compliances of internal documents, information, correspondences, agreements, contracts, MoUs etc.
∎ Render active and regular support to keep and update all appointment, meeting, program, law related information.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ 4 years of relevant professional experience of which at least 1 years at mid-level managerial role in a large organization.
∎ Excellent command of communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package including automation system related software and tools.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable and team player.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
∎ Age limit for the applicant would be 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
