Responsibilities & Context:
1. Build and maintain long-term relationships with global buyers to expand business opportunities.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company strategy.
3. Lead the end-to-end merchandising process: costing, sampling, price negotiation, order confirmation, and execution.
4. Drive effective product costing and margin analysis, ensuring competitive price benchmarking and overall company profitability.
5. Ensure sourcing of the right product from the right supplier to optimize cost, lead time, and quality.
6. Manage supply chain activities including material price control, lead time planning, and supplier base development.
7. Plan and monitor factory capacity and TNA (Time & Action) to align buyer demand with production capability and ensure on-time shipment.
8. Coordinate with design, sampling, production, and quality teams for smooth execution of orders.
9. Analyze buyer trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
10. Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
11. Anticipate and mitigate risks in supply chain and production to avoid delays or cost overruns.
12. Ensure adherence to sustainability, compliance, and buyer-specific standards in sourcing and production.
