Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management within garments/textile/RMG sectors.

• Hands-on experience in supplier evaluation, vendor management, and logistics optimization.
• High level of ethics, transparency, and responsiveness is a must.

JOB DETAILS:

One of the fastest-growing and diversified business groups in Bangladesh, with successful operations in Ready-Made Garments (RMG), Textiles, Consumer Products, and Retail, is seeking a proactive and ethical Senior Manager – Supply Chain to join its leadership team. The candidate will establish and lead the group’s Supply Chain strategy, build a new team structure, and play a pivotal role in ensuring timely procurement, imports, and local sourcing while upholding strict compliance and quality standards.

Location: Mainly in Narayanganj EPZ, Dhaka (Head Office) with responsibilities covering factory operations in Chittagong as well

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Director (Supply Chain), the Senior Manager – Supply Chain will lead the creation and implementation of a structured supply chain system. This role requires strong expertise in both import and local procurement, vendor management, logistics, and compliance. The Senior Manager must be highly ethical, responsive to inquiries, and capable of ensuring quality parameters are met at all times. With a growing supply chain team (currently 3 members), the incumbent will focus on building structure, accountability, and efficiency in line with the company’s rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Operations

• Establish and implement an end-to-end supply chain framework, covering imports, local sourcing, and logistics.

• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, trims, packaging, and accessories to support production schedules.

• Maintain efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness across the entire supply chain.

Vendor & Procurement Management

• Develop strong partnerships with both local and international suppliers.

• Negotiate competitive terms while maintaining ethical procurement practices.

• Monitor supplier performance and enforce quality standards.

Logistics & Import Management

• Oversee import operations, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and compliance.

• Optimize logistics channels to ensure cost-effective and timely material flow.

• Maintain proper documentation and transparency in all transactions.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, guide, and mentor the existing SCM team to align with organizational goals.

• Build team capability and introduce training for efficiency and compliance.

• Create a culture of integrity, quick response, and accountability.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to local import laws, customs regulations, and buyer compliance standards.

• Track and monitor KPIs such as lead time, on-time delivery, and supplier quality performance.

• Prepare regular reports for the Director (Supply Chain) and senior management.
