∎ Develop and implement an annual internal audit plan for the hospital.
∎ Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to assess risks and improve processes.
∎ Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (e.g., JCI, NABH), and hospital policies.
∎ Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.
∎ Collaborate with finance, HR, procurement, and other departments to ensure compliance and accountability.
∎ Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the board.
∎ Lead investigations related to fraud, financial discrepancies, and unethical practices.
∎ Stay updated on evolving healthcare regulations, financial policies, and risk management trends.
∎ Mentor and oversee the internal audit team, ensuring continuous development and effectiveness.
