Job Context
Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Centre Ltd. is seeking a qualified, dedicated, and experienced medical professional for the position of Junior Consultant – Cardiology. The selected candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care and support the multidisciplinary management of patients.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Provide cardiology consultations for indoor, outdoor, and referred patients as required.
Interpret ECG, Echocardiography, Holter Monitoring, and other relevant cardiac investigations.
Assist in the assessment and management of cardiac emergencies.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative cardiac evaluation and clinical support.
Collaborate with Oncology, Medicine, Surgery, Critical Care, and other clinical departments for multidisciplinary patient management.
Participate in clinical meetings and multidisciplinary discussions as required.
Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, investigation findings, and treatment documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, patient safety standards, infection control practices, and clinical guidelines.
Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, academic activities, and continuous professional development.
Perform other relevant clinical responsibilities assigned by the department.
Educational Requirements
MBBS
MD in Cardiology
Valid BMDC Registration
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience after post-graduation in Cardiology.
Additional Requirements
Strong clinical knowledge and competency in Cardiology.
Good clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to patient safety, professional ethics, and quality healthcare services.
