Provide direct clinical care and continuous monitoring of critically ill cardiac patients admitted to the CCU.
Conduct patient assessment, history taking, physical examination, and clinical evaluation.
Assist Consultants in diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of cardiac emergencies.
Monitor patients with acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmia, and other critical cardiac conditions.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate emergency management.
Perform and interpret ECG and assist in other cardiac investigations as required.
Supervise and guide Medical Officers, Junior Doctors, and other clinical staff working in the CCU.
Conduct regular ward/CCU rounds and communicate patient updates to Consultants and the concerned clinical team.
Coordinate with Nursing, Cath Lab, ICU, Emergency, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, and other relevant departments.
Ensure proper implementation of treatment plans and hospital clinical protocols.
Participate in emergency resuscitation, CPR, and other life-saving procedures when required.
Ensure appropriate handover of critical patients during shift changes.
Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical quality standards.
Participate in academic activities, case presentations, clinical meetings, and continuing medical education programs.
Perform any other clinical responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department/Consultant or hospital management.
MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
Must be registered with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).
MD/FCPS/Diploma in Cardiology
Candidates pursuing MD/FCPS/Diploma in Cardiology can also apply
Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience after internship.
Minimum 2 (Two) years of clinical experience in CCU during or after Post-Graduation .
Candidates with experience in a reputed hospital or cardiac center will receive preference.
Practical experience in managing cardiac emergencies and critically ill patients is essential.
Age preferably between 30–40 years.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making ability.
Candidates must know to perform intubation, CV line & Echo.
Sound knowledge of emergency cardiac management and critical care procedures.
Good knowledge of ECG interpretation and management of common cardiac emergencies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and emergency-care environment.
