Position Overview

AKMMCH is looking for a smart, energetic, customer-focused, and responsible Salesman (Pharmacy) to support pharmacy sales operations, ensure proper dispensing of medicines as per authorized prescriptions, assist customers, and maintain accurate sales and inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process medicine orders and prescriptions accurately.

• Dispense medicines strictly according to authorized prescriptions and pharmacy procedures.

• Provide courteous and professional service to patients and customers.

• Explain basic medicine-related information as directed by the Pharmacist.

• Check medicine names, quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates before delivery.

• Prepare bills and collect payments accurately.

• Maintain daily sales, cash, and transaction records.

• Assist in stock checking, receiving, arranging, and replenishing medicines.

• Monitor near-expiry and damaged products and report to the concerned authority.

• Maintain proper cleanliness and organized arrangement of the pharmacy.

• Coordinate with Pharmacists, Doctors, Nursing, Billing, Store, and other departments.

• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.

• Follow hospital pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Management.

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum HSC or equivalent from a recognized institution.

• Diploma/Certificate in Pharmacy or relevant pharmacy training will be an advantage.

• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, diagnostic center, or reputed pharmaceutical outlet.

• Experience in Hospital Pharmacy will be highly preferred.

• Candidates with experience in pharmacy sales, medicine handling, billing, and inventory management will be given preference.
