Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

We are looking for a proactive, responsible, and result-oriented Sr. Executive/Asst. Manger (Supply Chain Management) to manage procurement, vendor coordination, inventory planning, and supply chain activities. The candidate should have good knowledge of laboratory reagents, medical consumables, surgical items, stationery, medical equipment etc. and be capable of ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day procurement and supply chain activities.

  • Source and procure laboratory reagents, medical consumables, surgical items, stationery, medical equipment etc.

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.

  • Collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and recommend suitable suppliers.

  • Negotiate with suppliers regarding price, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

  • Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement-related documents.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the store and concerned departments to avoid stock-outs.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, inventory, and deliveries.

  • Verify received items against purchase orders, specifications, quantity, quality, and invoices.

  • Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation of laboratory reagents and medical consumables.

  • Maintain updated supplier/vendor database and product price lists.

  • Follow up on pending orders, replacements, and supplier-related issues.

  • Coordinate with Accounts & Finance regarding supplier bills and payment-related matters.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

  • Prepare regular procurement, inventory, and supply chain reports for management.

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved budgets, and applicable quality requirements.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.
