Education:

• Diploma in Nursing
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing

• Diploma in Nursing / B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Age At least 23 years

• Valid nursing registration with the appropriate authority.

• Previous experience in an IVF, fertility, gynecology, maternity, or reproductive medicine unit is preferred.

The IVF Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing infertility evaluation and assisted reproductive treatments, including IVF, IUI, and related fertility procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing IVF, IUI, and other fertility treatments.

• Assist IVF consultants during patient consultations, examinations, procedures, and treatments.

• Explain treatment procedures, medication schedules, appointments, and pre- and post-procedure instructions to patients.

• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and hormonal treatments according to medical instructions.

• Assist with procedures such as follicular monitoring, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer, and other fertility-related procedures.

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate post-procedure care.

• Coordinate blood tests, ultrasound scans, investigations, and follow-up appointments.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, treatment charts, medication records, and clinical documentation.

• Coordinate effectively with IVF consultants, embryologists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
